One of the most beautiful airports in Hungary can be found in Kecskemet-Matkopuszta, in the heart of the Hungarian Plain. The Airport, which is situated 10 km from Kecskemet, 85 km from Budapest, 45 km from the spa in Kiskunmajsa and only 5 km from the motorway, offers a lot of sporting, holiday and recreation facilites for those who want to relax and fly.
The marvellous climate dominating here gives an every day opportunity to the long-distance gliding planes from the middle of April to that of October.
Having a temporary or permanent membership makes it possible to rent a plane.

The resort centre, which has a close link with the airport, provides recreation and entertainment for families, companies of friends and school groups with the help of various facilities (a tennis course, a golf course, a swimmingpool, a criquet course, a gym, a playing-room, billiards, table football, cross-country gocart, riding, riding in carriages, marriages on land or in the air, pleasure flying, gliding, parachuting).
The airport is an ideal departure point for one-day trips (several museums in Kecskemet, the Museum of War History in Kecel, Bugacpuszta).
Accomodation is available in 2-4 bed rooms in the resort centre, for 80 people.
A full service is available in the restaurant of the airport on request. Besides the European food choice, the bar and the restaurant offer Hungarian specialities.
